From pounding 808’s to soaring keyboards, complicated rhythms to droning guitars, songwriter extraordinaire Dusty Ray paints a picture with the most vibrant palette. This project was conceived by Dusty in 2010 and he promises 2011 marks a new year. His first album named "The Drama Montage"was just released and Dusty says, "You can practically (and sometimes literally) hear the arguments, the make ups, the midnight phone conversations, the din of the party. I'm gonna put a label on you whether you like it or...
I have been inspired by some great music throughout my life and some of the best music comes from your local areas. From this inspiration I have decided that I want to start theme days. What are theme days you ask? Theme: a subject of discourse, discussion, meditation, or composition. Day: the interval of light between two successive nights; the time between sunrise and sunset. What this means for you is... I am going to start featuring new and great "local" music on certain days sometime between sunrise and sunset, for example, New Music Monday or Fuzzy Friday. If you want to be featured or know someone who wants to be featured, then hit me up and let's liberate great music together.
